Tessa was raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Tessa took her first dance class at the age of 3 and began competing at the age of 5. She attended many studios throughout the Omaha Metro, including Dance Unlimited, Synergy Tech Jazz Company, and Kitty Lee Dance Studio. Tessa competed on the Millard North Dance Team for 4 years in high school and was coached by Andrea Feltz and Mila O’Brien. She graduated from Millard North in 2016 with 8 state medals and was part of many team accomplishments at UDA nationals in Orlando, Florida.

After high school, Tessa attended the University of Iowa and danced on the Iowa Dance Team for 4 years. She competed with the Iowa Dance Team at college nationals in Division 1A and danced at home football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, volleyball games, and wrestling meets. Along with coaching and teaching at No Limits, Tessa also teaches 6th grade at Aspen Creek Middle School.
